Quamed: GSDP technical visit in DRC
Our auditor Jean-Christophe Pelissier visited the DRC to conduct a Good Storage and Distribution Practices technical visit of a not-for-profit pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Kinshasa. In addition, he visited suppliers based in Kananga (CADIMEK), Goma (Asrames) and Bukavu for Corrective Action and Preventative Action (CAPA) plans follow-up. All three suppliers had been audited by QUAMED in 2021. Dr. Pelissier’s visit was commissioned by FHI360.
Meanwhile, over the same period, one of our validated GMP auditors conducted 3 GMP audits in DRC, specifically in the towns of Kinshasa and Bukavu. The audits were funded by both ACF-France and one of the manufacturers.
