Auditors Recruitment Alert

As we grow, we’d like to launch a call to applications for independent and experienced experts and auditors who are interested in becoming validated QUAMED experts and auditors.

We are looking for GSDP (Good Storage and Distribution Practices) auditors to conduct on-site audits of pharmaceutical suppliers, GSDP experts to perform GSDP technical visits, whether on-site or remotely, GMP (Good manufacturing practices) auditors to perform assessments of pharmaceutical suppliers using GMP standards, and MQAS (Model Quality Assurance System for Supply Agencies) auditors to perform assessments on pharmaceutical suppliers using the WHO MQAS and GSDP standards.

The aim of these assessments is to provide QUAMED customers with independent and documented feedback on the level of compliance of the audited organization. Assignments will be on a short-term basis, with some being between 1-5 days and others ranging between 1-3 weeks. Please check out the document below for more information on the qualifications required and feel free to share it with your interested colleagues.

auditor validation process

Our QMS describes:

  • The recruitment process of external auditors.
  • The validation process that external candidates will have to go through to become validated QUAMED auditors.
  • The validation renewal and the suspension of the status of validated auditors.

The auditor validation, the renewal of validation, and the suspension of validation is managed by the QUAMED operational team, jointly with the QUAMED Technical Committee. QUAMED’s Technical Coordinator (QUATC) manages the process.

First step:

Potential candidates who would like to become QUAMED-validated auditors are screened on the basis of their CVs and the list of audits performed.

Second step:

The screened candidates are invited to take part in a written test.

Third step:

When the written test is concluded successfully, the candidate is invited for an interview.

Fourth step:

When the interview is successful, the candidate is pre-validated and s/he is invited to a training on the QUAMED QMS.

Fifth step:

To become validated, a pre-validated auditor must conduct at least one joint audit with a member of the QUAMED technical team to evaluate on-site his/her auditing practices and knowledge of the WHO standards.

Then the report and the audit outcomes are evaluated by the QUATC and QUAMED’s Quality Compliance Coordinator (QCC). When the result of the first audit is positive the auditor will be validated and added to the QUAMED roster.

Monitoring:

For the validated auditors, regular meetings are organised to discuss auditing techniques and processes, as well as technical issues such as procedures that have been updated or changed.

Each validated auditor is required to participate in an annual performance appraisal. The auditors’ participation in the regular meetings and her/his performance appraisal determines whether to renew or suspend her/his status.
