Quamed: Mozambique MQAS
On Friday the 28th of January, Dr. George Mugi M. finalised the last of 4 MQAS audits in Mozambique. The ‘Model Quality Assurance System’ audits include Good Storage and Distribution Practices and an emphasis on the way the suppliers prequalify their sources.
The draft reports will be shared with the 4 suppliers within 30 days after the in-country visit. The suppliers will then have 30 days to submit comments and a Corrective Action and Preventative Action plan (CAPA plan). Once the CAPA plan has been verified by our auditor, the final audit report is issued.
These 4 MQAS audits (as well as the 4 GDSP audits late last year) in Mozambique were conducted at the request of FHI360 and funded by #USAID.
