Strengthening Quality Assurance in Medical Procurement
From February 25th to 27th, Quamed successfully facilitated a high-impact training workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on “Capacity Building on Quality Assurance in the Procurement of Medical Products”. Organized on behalf of WHO Ethiopia, in collaboration with WHO AFRO and WHO HQ, this training brought together key stakeholders, including Health Cluster Members, the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority, and the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service.
The workshop convened a diverse group of stakeholders, including Health cluster members, the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority, and the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service, to foster a unified approach to ensuring the quality of medical products.
Through this training, participants gained valuable insights and skills to:
– Align procurement and storage practices with regulatory standards
– Enhance supplier evaluation and selection processes
– Maintain the integrity of medical products throughout the supply chain
