Barriers & Solutions to Quality Local Procurement

How can humanitarian organisations safely source more medical products locally in conflict-affected settings, without compromising quality? This question is at the core of the Local Medical Supplier Development Project led by Relief International, in partnership with QUAMED. Following collaborative workshops in Afghanistan and Yemen, the project is now opening a global conversation to share lessons learned and explore how decision-making at the global level can better support quality local procurement aligned with World Health Organization standards.

Join the virtual Global Workshop: Barriers & Solutions to Quality Local Procurement on Wednesday, 28 January (14:00–15:30 CET).

This interactive Teams webinar will discuss findings from the country studies and invite participants to reflect together on practical solutions for strengthening localisation of quality medical products.
