Quamed: Local Market Assessment
This past weekend, our auditor Anthony Bourasseau completed his visit to Iraq and returned to France. He successfully visited suppliers in Baghdad, Erbil and Duhok as part of a local market assessment. INTERSOS – Humanitarian Organization was the lead NGO for this LMA. The 2 visits to Iraq were funded by Chaîne de l’Espoir Belgique, Cordaid, IRC, Malteser International, MdM France, MDM-Spain, Relief International, UPP.
Often a local market assessment also includes visits to the regulatory authority, the national laboratory and the World Health Organization office to include a description of the pharmaceutical environment in which the suppliers operate.
