Quamed Presents at Indo-Pacific Regulatory Partners Meeting

On the 12th and 13th of December, Quamed’s director had the opportunity to participate in the partners’ meeting organised by the Indo-Pacific Regulatory Strengthening Program. The RSP is part of the Therapeutic Goods Department of the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care. The RSP with a team of 13 offers support with the goal of strengthening the capability of NRAs to increase the availability of safe and effective medicines and medical devices through improved regulatory practice and regional collaboration.

The RSP had invited Quamed to present its program (assessments, database, online learning platform and technical assistance) to partners and NRAs in the Indo-Pacific region.

We were happy to present and to network with colleagues NRAs from various countries such as Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, PNG, Fiji, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines as well as partner organisations such as PATH, USP, Access to Medicines Foundation, RAGNA, DFAT, WHO, Medicines Development for Global Health, CHAI, MMV, IVCC, the Monash University Quality of Medicines Initiatives and others.

We would like to thank the team of the RSP (Felicity Jameson, Natasha Brockwell, Michel Wiseman, Paul Huelatt and Nick Henderson) once again for this opportunity.
